About the course
This nationally recognised training course gives participants the necessary skills and knowledge to safely work up to the defined “safe approach distance” for non electrical workers. It is suitable for many work functions for example Spotters / Observers working within the civil, vegetation control, telecommunications, scaffolding, rigging or any other activity that requires working safely near live electrical apparatus as a non-electrical worker.
Included is the preparation of risk assessment control measures that encompass job safety assessment. This unit does not include any work that is or may be performed by other competent operatives within the defined “safe working zone” for instance qualified electricians and allied technicians.
