HLTPAT005 Collect Specimens for Drugs of Abuse Testing Course
This 1-day nationally accreddited course is designed to train people in how to conduct drug and alcohol testing. This course will enable students to understand how to complete alcohol and other drug testing in the workplace in a safe, legal and ethical manner.
It is a requirement for anyone collecting urine or oral fluid samples to meet Australian Standards and to be trained as a collector per AS/NZS 4308:2008, AS 4760:2019, and AS 3547:2019.
Who should attend
Individuals who are responsible for their workplace alcohol and other drug screening through breathalyser, urine or saliva specimens.

Upon successful completion of this course, you will be awarded a Statement of Attainment in HLTPAT005 Collect Specimens for Drug of Abuse Testing, issued by Safeguard Training and Services (RTO 90987).
