About the Course
Psychosocial hazards are now a core work health and safety obligation across Australia. Leaders, managers and officers are increasingly expected to demonstrate that they understand psychosocial risk, can identify hazards early and make informed, defensible decisions to prevent harm.
This one-day Psychosocial Risk Leadership course provides the essential foundations for managing psychosocial risk in line with WHS legislation, Safe Work guidance and contemporary risk management practice.
This course focuses on leadership understanding and decision-making, not just awareness. Participants will learn how psychosocial hazards arise, how they interact with systems of work and what effective psychosocial risk management looks like before attempting to document or formalise controls.
This workshop also serves as Day 1 of our Psychosocial Risk Management program. Participants may later progress to Day 2 – Psychosocial Risk Register Workshop, which focuses on building and implementing a compliant psychosocial risk register.
