About the course
Challenging situations, such as multiple casualty incidents, having to move or extricate casualties, or treating potentially fatal illnesses and injuries, are high risk. Training is how you know what to do when you are faced with a real incident.
This course uses practical, simulated real-life situations so you gain the confidence to coordinate and manage a response, and to give advanced first aid until emergency services arrive. It follows legal, community and workplace considerations, the Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines and other Australian national peak clinical bodies.
